● Scope of work
The scope of work (SOW) for Avante Skateboard Co is establishing a robust brand as they enter the clothing category. They expressed the need for a comprehensive brand package containing a memorable logo, a uniform visual style, practical packaging, social media themes, and engaging motion graphics. The assignment involves extensive brainstorming and design, ensuring that every aspect reflects the brand's essence and values. It includes creatively bold hoodie designs for their future project, which should seamlessly blend striking graphics with their new logo.
Following are some of the major things required:
→ Logo Design
→ Visual identity
→ Apparel
→ Social Media
" The brand should exude a fresh and meaningful aesthetic, avoiding a vintage look while maintaining depth and significance. "

● Logo Design
Goal
The brand that stands out without breaking the bank, resonating with its audience genuinely and memorably. The idea was to create a combination mark logo with a solid typeface and a monogram, which should have a custom build that conveys that it could be used without a monogram. Inspired by the real tracks of skateboarding, the colours stimulate a connection with true enthusiasts while assuring versatility across the brand categories.
Research
The brand is built on a deep understanding of skateboarding culture. Its main audience includes young people aged 10 to 30, but it also appeals to a wider demographic. The target country is the United States.
→ Brand’s Personality: Skateboarding requires courage and a willingness to take risks. Brands in this space often reflect this fearlessness, encouraging individuals to push their limits, overcome obstacles, and embrace challenges on and off the board.
→ Inspiration & Style Keywords: Skatepark, Edginess, Adventurous

→ Monogram Construction: A + B
→ Monogram Outline: x-width, and y-height
→ Typography: Custom Typography
→ Full Logo: Monogram + Type

● Visual identity
The brand's visual identity is the bedrock of its personality. Creating a strong visual identity is a collective effort that offers multiple benefits for current and future subbrands. It fosters an emotional bond with customers, leading to a substantial 57% increase in spending, as per a study conducted by Sprout Social. The audience's role in maintaining consistent visuals is crucial, as it ensures a unified brand message, enabling the company to achieve instant recognition across all channels.
I have comprised various elements for Visual identity. I have addressed four as specified by the client's requirements:
→ Colour Palette
→ Typography
→ Outdoor Ad Concepts
Why are colours so crucial in visual identity?
When you look at a brand logo or any related brand material, colours are usually the first thing that catches your eye. They capture attention and play a meaningful role in enhancing brand memorability. For example, the bright orange-yellow colour of a DHL van is immediately recognizable, and the red and yellow colours are always associated with McDonald's.
→ Color palette & inspiration: We have considered the real-world approach and have taken colours from the skate park.

→ Typography
→ Outdoor Ad Concept

● Apparel Design
The client initiated this testing project to explore the potential of these unique designs. To stand out in the competitive clothing industry, an apparel brand needs more than just a logo. To create a unique brand, I have designed some apparel for their trial project to align with the brand's values and goals and a two-in-one approach to selling appeal and skateboards; the rest of the time, I will tell the real story. Look at some of the examples below.

● Social Media
Social media is crucial in today's world. I have included the monogram logo in the social media stories, a key element that will help customers connect with the brand instantly. This strategy will elevate the brand's visibility and engage our customers in the brand's narrative.
Moreover, the posts have been designed in a way that empowers customers to maintain the same template even when they post themselves. This is a challenging task, but my key agenda is to make them feel involved and consistent in their interactions with the brand.
